Is it important for the dog to understand what are the type of behaviors you consider inadequate. Don't confuse the dog, if something is wrong, it will always be. You should punish the dog only when it is really misbehaving. When you growl at the dog, use a severe tone of voice. |
PREVENTION |

If the dog continues chewing, leave it in a cage when it is alone at home. |

RE-EDUCATION RULES |
Even when the bad customs vary, almost all of them can be corrected by following a general reeducation program. |
1. Have the dog obey an order, such as sitting or laying down, before receiving a verbal or food reward. |
2. Go back to the obedience basic training. Make sure the dog obeys, sits and remains quiet when you order so. |
3. Make sure the dog is always under your control either at home or outside. Always keep the dog on the leash or the long leash until you are sure that it obeys your orders. |
4. Continue with this program and convince yourself that bad customs won't be eliminated from one day to the other. It will take you several weeks to solve the problem totally. |
5. In the case of the serious problems, with which you, the dog or other people can get hurt, look for professional help. |
