HEAD: |
The upper part of the snout is almost parallel to the higher line of the skull and is not much longer than the head. |
The forehead can be slightly wrinkled as well as the sides of the eyes. The skin of the head is loose enough to wrinkle notably when it leans to the front. |
SKULL: |
It has a hollow shape, with a medium width on the eyebrow region and it slightly diminishes to the snout. |
EYES: |
They are dark, but they can be hazel on the hounds of clear color. Its expression is calmed and serious. The red of the mucous of the lower lid is apparent, but with no exaggeration. Clear or yellow eyes are very undesirable. |
EARS: |
Placed low, just under the line of the eyes. They are long, but not excessively and they are extended longer than the tip of a snout with a correct length. |
They are narrowed and well curled to the inside. They are very flexible, fine and with a soft texture. |
NECK: |
It is muscular, arched, pretty long and with a prominent double chin, but not excessive. |
BODY: |
Long and deep in its whole extension; the cross and the body have approximately the same height. |
TAIL: |
It is well placed and it is rather long. It is strong at the root and diminishes gradually. A moderate quantity of rough hair is observed under the tail. When the dog is in movement, the tail is raised and draws a soft curve like the shape of a saber, but it is never curled or raised too high. |
