Sometimes dogs behave in a crazy way because of the situation. They bark hysterically, chase their tail, chew stones, groom themselves compulsively and ask you to carry them in your arms.

EXCESSIVE Dog BARKING |

| DEMANDING ATTENTION |
| Sometimes insecure dogs get hysterical if they are not carried in arms, this is more probable on depending dogs, especially when they are in new environments. |

| Solution |
| 1. If the dog jumps persistently and obsessively, or it scratches you, leave the room silently, the dog will be surprised by your sudden departure. |
| 2. A minute later and while the dog is still calmed, go back and reinforce your control by ordering it to sit. You should reward its good behavior. |
| BARKING |
| Not all barking is compulsive, most of it normal and natural. The dog barks to welcome the other dogs and us. There are also alarm, threaten and communal barks. The only barking that is bad is the excessive one, the one that can not be controlled. |

| If your dog is doing it, grab it by the neck, look at it on the eyes, shake it fast and firmly and order it "shut up". |
| LICKING |
| Licking obsessively the front paws can be a hygiene disease similar to the one in human's in which they wash their hands obsessively. |

| The veterinary will be able to prescribe your dog some specific substance in order to reduce such a disgusting activity. This problem is especially common in the Labrador Retriever and the Doberman. |
