You will need more time in order to train some dogs inside the house, keep this in mind and be very patient.
|
ADVICE 233 |
If you have an adult dog that has never lived in a house, treat it as you would treat a puppy. |
ADVICE 234 |
You should not punish the dog for making a mess in the house, or growl at it for urinating inside, the only thing you will get with this attitude is to make the dog nervous and run away from you. |
|
|
|
ADVICE 235 |
Foresee when your dog is going to urinate or defecate and go with it to the place you have designated for this purpose. The most usual moments are after eating or playing or right after waking up. Then clean up the place very well. |
TIME CONTROL |
Dogs never get their place dirty. If you can not take your dog out, it is better to leave it in its cage and give it a toy so it will be entertained chewing the toy. |
ADVICE 236 |
Control the time your dog stays in the cage, take it out as soon as you can. Try not to make the cage too small for the puppy. |
