HEAD: |
Wide and powerful. Back truffle. Fine lips. Wide and thick snout that diminishes slightly in width to the truffle. Wide skull and slightly convex between the ears that get finer to the eyes; it is rounded at the level of the cheeks. |
EYES: |
Brown, almond, placed obliquely above the skull. |
EARS: |
Small in proportion to the skull. Triangular upper half, but with the tip slightly rounded. Distant from each other and placed on the higher part of the skull. |

NECK: |
Strong and moderately arched. |
BODY: |
Deep and vigorous chest. Robust body and not too short. Straight back, slightly fallen at the shoulders or the thighs. Muscular sides. |
BACK EXTREMITIES: |
Wide thighs, strong and exceptionally muscular. The paws are kind of angular. Wide and thick hock, slightly folded. |
FRONT EXTREMITIES: |
Almost vertical when seen from the sides, strong and muscular bones. Slightly angled shoulders. |
FEET: |
Wide and compact wide tight and arched toes. Thick and solid pads on the base of the paw. Strong and short nails. There is a protector layer of hair in between the toes. |
TAIL: |
Placed on the line of the dorsal spine. When it is in repose, the dog carries it on the back. |
HAIR: |
Abundant and thick hair, but not too long and pretty rough. It is longer at the neck where it forms a tight collar and on the tail. The dog loses hair during summer, seasons in which the hair is shorter. |
COLOR: |
From light gray to black with white spots on the snout, the extremities and the lower part of the body. |
