HEAD AND SKULL |
Squared, flattened on the upper part with no wrinkles. The cheeks are flattened. The forehead is abrupt. The ideal thing for the Boston Terrier is to have an alert and affectionate expression that shows intelligence. This is one of the most important characteristics to evaluate. |
EYES: |
They very separated from each other. The are big, rounded and dark. They are placed in a straight angle on the skull and seen from the front, the external angles are on the same line than the cheeks. |
EARS: |
They are small. They are presented straight, either naturally or cut, so they will make a harmony with the shape of the head. |
SNOUT: |
It is short, squared, wide, thick and proportioned with the skull. The snout is in a parallel line to the skull. |
TRUFFLE: |
It is black and wide and it presents a well-defined line between the windows. |
JAW: |
It is wide and squared, with small and regular teeth. The bite is regular. The lips have a good depth, but they are not hanging and they cover the teeth completely when the mouth is closed. |
